Standing bicep stretch

Whether you’re feeling the curls you did during your last workout or you’re on a recovery day, a good bicep stretch can lengthen your muscles and promote circulation, which helps your muscles repair themselves more efficiently. Check out Figure 9-14 to see one variation of a simple bicep stretch.

Stretch out both of your biceps at the same time by following these steps:

Extend your arms out to the side and put them parallel to the floor.

Turn your thumbs down so your palms are facing out behind your back.

Hold the position for 20 to 30 seconds and then switch sides.
