shook off the last flakes of dirt

and tumbled into the bright

Open Air.

Purples,

oranges,

snowy whites,

glowing reds,

lit-up emeralds

and fuchsias, blues and golds

swayed all around him

in the cheerful, glowing garden.

Cisco squinted and blinked

and uncurled his pale length,

gathering green,

unfolding one leaflet

then another

and another.

A knob on his side burst out into a button

and the button into a green bud

and the bud into an unfolding flower,

fluttering white.
