There was now only a couple of days to Christmas so at David's behest Bobby gave his parents one early present so that they could all go their separate ways to buy presents and food and drink for the festival days.
âMum, Dad, this is an early present so that we can do all our Christmas shopping.â
With that he handed his Dad a check for $100,000. Mike spluttered out a strangled, âI can't take that.â
Bobby started to cry. âPlease Dad, you have to, honestly I have plenty more.â
Mike looked at David who just nodded.
âOk son.â
âMike, Bobby wants you to use that to enjoy yourselves, don't just stick it into the bank and leave it.â
âOh yes Dad, you have to use it for a good time. Honestly I have plenty more, don't I David?â
âYes Lover, I won't let you run short.â
Mike was blown away, but what a Christmas they had.

Chapter 6
Life Just Keeps Getting Better Bobby was probably the happiest college student in the USA when they returned from the break at Hills Creek. He had left behind supremely happy parents living in a beautiful new home and with Dad having his first ever car. His love for David had grown exponentially during that time because of the sensitivity he had shown in dealing with the parents.
Driving back to the college from the airport Bobby told David his feelings.
âThank you for this holiday David. You made it so special for Mum and Dad. I know I am going to love you forever.â
David laughed.
âYeah right. I suppose you had nothing to do with making your parents so happy and so proud of you.â
Bobby looked surprised.
âBut it's all because of you.â âI love you so much for being so modest and self effacing Bobby, but believe me, it was all you're doing. Your love and generosity was what made the holiday for your parents.â
Bobby sat and mulled over that, and before he knew it, they were pulling into the campus parking lot. âBack to reality my love. We are going to have to be very careful not to screw up now. Remember, I can't be your lover here.â
David saw the look of disappointment on Bobby's face.
âWell, not openly anyway, but I guess I can have meetings with you in your room to discuss swimming.â
Both young men were grinning like idiots as they parted to go to their own quarters.
âI'll see you at the pool 0800 tomorrow.â Bobby almost bounced up to his room greeting all the other students he knew on the way, and telling them what a great vacation he had.
Two weeks into the new semester and Bobby broke the college record for 100 mtrs. Butterfly. David was over the moon.
âYou are nowhere near competition fit Bobby so that was awesome.â The rest of the swim team were as amazed as the coach. They knew they were all performing below their best, but they were still working off the effects of the vacation break and didn't expect to be competition ready for a couple more months.
