This section is about expanding the discussion into one that encompasses broader and more complex topics, allowing us to look at trauma through a wider lens.

I look at several topics that some might view as controversial and try to give the reader a balanced view based on the knowledge and information I have.

I felt that if I wrote a book about trauma, it should at least contain some of my own. As my trauma is most intimate to me, I try to use this to give the reader the ability to see, feel and experience trauma through the eyes and the mind of the traumatised individual.

I end the book with an unusual story, but one I felt worth sharing as it demonstrates beyond doubt that trauma is driven by the mammalian and reptilian brains.

If you are here, you probably found the first section fairly interesting and engaging. I hope you will find the second section just the same, if not more so.
