Guacamole Stuffed Burgers
This is a delicious and filling burger dish you can make whenever you are craving something more on the filling side.
Makes: 4 servings
Total Prep Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 ¼ pounds of lean ground beef
Dash of salt and black pepper
½ cup of guacamole
8 strips of bacon, thick cut
4 hamburger buns
2 slices of cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
½ cup of pico de gallo
Directions:
In a bowl, add in the lean beef. Season with a dash of salt and black pepper. Stir well to mix.
Form the beef into 8 patties that are ¼ inch in thickness.
Top half each patty off with 2 tablespoons of guacamole. Add the remaining half over the top and shape into a patty. Wrap the patties in the bacon slices.
Preheat an outdoor grill to medium or high heat. Add the patties and grill for 8 to 10 minutes or until the patties are cooked through.
Top the patties with the sliced cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional minute or until the cheese is melted.
Transfer the patties onto the burger buns. Top off with pico de gallo and serve immediately.
