BALLPARKING NACHOS

Every Major League Baseball and National Football League stadium offers nachos. Only popcorn and soft drinks outsell nachos. You’re outta there, hotdogs and Cracker Jack.

◁ LOADED NACHOS

Nacho’s Nachos are the primeval nacho. This version is the more familiar everything-but-the-kitchen-sink rendition found in sports bars, as well as in some Mexican restaurants. Using fresh fried corn tortilla chips makes for even better nachos, but I get it if you’d rather make life simpler and buy restaurant-style corn tortilla chips. White or yellow corn, it’s your choice.

The list of fillings provides lots of options if you want a protein layer. Use whatever you choose or nothing at all. Ditto for the after-oven toppings, starting with the Guacamole in step 7.
