U-Turn Exercise—Time to Encourage

Take a first step in growing a culture of blessing. Make a list of three to five leaders who are faithfully serving your church. Take time to write them a note, give them a call, send them an e-mail, give them a tweet, or even get them a little gift. Let this be the start of a new discipline in your life and something you encourage other people in your church to do.

U-Turn Exercise—Time to Train

Identify one group of leaders that you influence. Make space for some kind of training or equipping on a weekly or monthly basis. Be sure to include some kind of accountability, where leaders are able to share what God is teaching them in their personal time with Him, and where they report how they are doing in developing personal spiritual disciplines.
