Ingredients

3 -3 1/2 lbs. onions, peeled and sliced

0.667 (749 5/8 ml) bottles Riesling wine

2/3 C. flour

6 (12 ounce) cans beef broth

salt

1/2 C. butter

French bread

3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

cheddar cheese

2 tbsp garlic

2 tbsp paprika

2 bay leaves

Directions

1. Place a pot over medium heat. Heat in it the butter until it melts. Cook in it the onion with garlic for 4 min.

2. Add the salt, pepper, paprika, Worcestershire and bay leafs. Cook them for 1 min.

3. Stir in the broth with wine. Cook them over high heat until they start boiling.

4. Get a mixing bowl: Whisk in it 1 can of broth with flour until no lumps are found.

5. Stir the flour broth back into the pot. Lower the heat and let them cook for 60 min to 120

min.

6. Adjust the seasoning of the soup. Serve it hot with some bread and cheddar cheese.

7. Enjoy.
