Directions:
1. Use a large bowl and add in the salt, powdered garlic, ground cumin, crumbled oregano, ground coriander and ground cinnamon. Stir to thoroughly mix.
2. Add in the pork shoulder and toss to coat on all sides.
3. Place the bay leaves into the bottom of a large slow cooker. Place the pork over the top. Pour the homemade chicken broth around the pork, making sure that you donât accidentally rinse off the spice mixture in the process.
4. Cover and then cook on the lowest setting for 10 hours or until the pork can be easily shredded by a fork. Make sure that you turn the pork after 5 hours of cooking.
5. After this time remove the cooked pork from the slow cooker. Place onto a large cutting board and shred using two fork. Serve right away.
