THE ONE WAY
If anyone, anywhere tells you that their way is the only way of doing something, simply smile and thank them for their time. It isnât true. Ever. There is no one right way to practice magic, no one right way to access the divine, and no one right way to be a witch, or Pagan, or occultist, or whatever other magical label youâre seeking. Moreover, there is no one system of belief that can solve all problems, reveal all answers, or perfect our lives.
SOLICITING SEX
A very good indicator the person speaking to you does not have your best interests in mind is that they, at any time, suggest or solicit sex. This can look like a lot of things. It can look like sex with them, such as if they make it sound like the gods want you to have sex, that sex is part of initiation, or that sex is a requirement for a deeper magical understanding. It can look like shaming you for not wanting to participate in sex happening at certain events, such as festivals or other magical gatherings. If they call you a prude or demand that you go outside your comfort zone of body autonomy or in any way sexualize your spiritual journey, that is a big warning sign to get away.
