The frustration drives Job to explode. There is no one to mediate for him, so now he will speak for himself. He gives his opening plea to the Almighty Judge. He gathers together his case, lacking much and explodes. He cries out as if to say, “Not guilty”

DO NOT CONDEMN ME!

Followed by a request to know God’s reason for contending with him, (He isn’t).

Job then seeks some humanity in the Almighty. He grapples for some common ground...

"Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days," (Job 10:4-5, KJV)

Job continues with an address to his creation and the majesty within. He praises God for His great work of fashioning Job into being, not only Job’s body but his life, and would God now destroy that which He has had such a great part in creating and building up?

Job continues with a confession and request:

"If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity. If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;" (Job 10:14-15, KJV )

“If you show my sin, I’ll accept it, and I will repent,” says the weary soul. Job, still convinced of his innocence, gives out an offer.
