Banana Kheer

Cooked and sweetened with bananas and sprinkled with nuts.

Yield: 6 persons

Total Prep Time: 25mins.

List of Ingredients:

bananas (4 large, peeled)

sugar (½ cup)

milk (1 cup)

cardamom seeds (2 green)

pistachios (15 crushed)

almonds (6, crushed)

aniseeds (¼ teaspoons)

Methods:

1. In a suitably sized bowl add peeled bananas and mash with a masher.

2. Place milk in a saucepan and let boil.

3. Add the mashed bananas, cardamom, sugar, aniseeds and continuously stir for 2 minutes.

4. Turn off flame and transfer into a serving dish, sprinkle the almonds and pistachios on top and enjoy.
