Light from the moon shone through Jason’s bedroom window. He had been reluctant to untangle his limbs from Pam’s, but the sweet-smelling cobbler sat on his dresser just waiting to be devoured. Besides, the appetite they worked up over the past couple hours drove his desire in a different direction.

“Mmm, this is fantastic,” heaping another forkful of cobbler into his mouth, Jason closed his eyes. “Just freaking amazing. What is this called again and how did you learn to bake like this?”

“My grandmother’s secret recipe for brown sugar peach cobbler. It’s been in my family for generations. But I’d rather not discuss my grandmother while laying naked beside you.”

Jason laughed and offered a bite to Pam. A piece of the fruit plopped onto her skin making his desire change directions again. “Don’t move,” he said and set the plate on the nightstand before licking the dessert off his baby girl.
