Chapter 10
A heated desire gathered in the Range Rover for the rest of the drive back to Everleigh. I was pretty sure Nikita broke several speed limits during that time, but it didnât seem to make the journey any quicker.
I squeezed and rubbed Nikitaâs thigh as she tightened her hold on the steering wheel, and every time I looked behind me, I noticed how Blair and Arielle had their hands linked together as they met my heated gaze, and occasionally they would hold each other in a sweet embrace.
My stomach rumbled with the need for food, but the urge for something else overpowered that. I was still going to have a feast, though. In fact, I was going to have a buffet, and my mouth began to salivate at the thought of eating from the source. Then an intense burning sensation formed in my chest as the swarm of my omegasâ mouth-watering scents took over the tight space. It was like a blazing fire had engulfed the entire car, and they were the warmest, most enchanting scents Iâd ever experienced.
It often took an effort for an alpha to control their urges around a single omega, but when three were added into the equation, it was instantly ten times more difficult to keep my emotions and primal desires at bay.
The adrenaline from the evening had a firm hold on my body, too, and although I was tempted to order Nikita to pull over so we could start our nightâs events right now, my women deserved a bed to lie on when I fucked them.
I also had to remember that Hazel Wise could have been somewhere nearby, and there was a chance sheâd followed us to and from the concert, so the last thing I wanted was for her to catch me with my cock out. We had to act as natural as possible, like nothing was going on, and an orgy in a Range Rover wasnât exactly the best way to go about things.
It really had put a damper on the night when I spotted Hazel Wise beside her car. It only made me question her motives more, because surely someone gathering information about a personâs death would stay in the town where it happened, right? Had the concert been in Monroe, or even Everleigh, then I would have understood, but not in a major city that took an hour to get there.
Still, I did my best to put the female agent behind me, and I focused on the rest of the evening instead. I had my omegas around me, who clearly had the same desires that I did, and I had a wonderful pack who would keep a close eye on Hazel Wise and the general goings-on around the nearby towns.
As long as my pack and I were safe, then Hazel Wise was nothing but another member of the general public, and sheâd soon realize that the residents of Monroe didnât appreciate the likes of her wandering around.
Fortunately, after what
