This didn’t make Merle feel too much better, knowing that bears love honey. And possibly also love squirrels. Ruben’s snores continued to fill the cave. “Deal,” Merle agreed. With Merle pushing on the back of the zipper from the inside and Dave pulling on the head of the zipper from the outside, the two managed to unzip the backpack. As the morning light streamed through the opening in the pack, Merle was greeted by the sight of a bright-blue . . .
