1 Place the paper like this. Valley fold it in half from left to right, then unfold.

2 Valley fold the bottom left edge to meet the central crease.

3 Repeat step 2 on the right side, then rotate the paper 180˚.

4 The paper should look like this. Turn it over from left to right.

5 Mountain fold it in half so that the top section goes behind the bottom section.

6 The paper should now look like this. Unfold.

7 Make a valley fold just beneath the crease to make a step fold. Turn the paper over from left to right.
