7 Take an ovenproof dish and layer the spinach mixture and potato and onion mixture in alternate layers. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the last layer. Pipe mashed potato rosettes on top and bake for thirty minutes. Serve hot.

1 small (250 grams) bottle gourd (lauki), peeled and grated
2 medium bunches (350 grams each) spinach
Salt to taste
3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tablespoon raisins (kishmish)
3 tablespoons coarse rice powder
½ teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 large onion, finely chopped
