I didn’t open a Brazilian restaurant because we don’t have enough Brazilians in New Orleans and it’s expensive. We don’t have menus in Brazil; they give you a card, green one side and red on the other then they bring the food to you. It can cost around fifty dollars and I don’t think people in New Orleans want to pay that. I like New Orleans but I miss my country sometimes. You have maybe five hundred or eight hundred Brazilians in New Orleans. They are like gypsies. If they don’t make money here they move to another city. When I was on Frenchmen Street, I served in my taco truck quesadillas, burrito, surround my truck and dance and enjoy eating tacos. Pineapple pork taco was my best seller and the food outside. Everybody loved my burritos pupusas and Honduran tamales. I have a regular because they were cheap and filled you up.
