Instructions:

1. Remove the skin from the chicken.

2. Cut or hand-shred the chicken meat into bite-sized sizes and place in a bowl.

3. Heat an adequate amount of oil for frying the tacos.

4. In one tortilla, place a row of chicken pieces on one end. Roll up tortilla snugly and seal with a toothpick in the middle to prevent it from opening. Repeat for the rest of the tacos.

5. Fry in batches of 3-6 tacos. Transfer fried tacos to a plate lined with paper towels.

6. Garnish each serving plate with lettuce, stewed tomatoes with oregano, peas, and jack cheese.
