1 Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2 Add cabbage, onion, and carrot and cook until vegetables are softened and starting to caramelize in spots, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute more, stirring constantly.

3 Turn off heat and stir in tamari sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, 3 teaspoons sesame seeds, salt, and black pepper.

4 Transfer to a serving dish and top with remaining 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, sesame oil, and scallion. Serve.
