Chapter Twelve
Grey
Alexander had managed to get us a little room set up just for us. It wasnât as over the top as the one in Collared, but really, that one was sometimes overwhelming. This was perfect.
In one corner, they had a table set up with snacks, both big and little, another with drinks, including sippy cups and bottles, and a couple of high chairs for those who wanted them.
On the other side of the room, play stations awaited: blocks, cars, a water table, and a bunch of stuffies.
The corner opposite the drinks was an art area, including everything from crayons to finger paints and the final area had books and rockers. It was perfect.
I had walked with Daddy the entire way but then dropped to my hands and knees at the doorway, being sure to rub against his legs, so anyone in there would see he was mine. It wasnât necessary. They werenât after him, but, when I was falling into kitten space, it felt important. The way his hand came down automatically and gave me scritches as I did it told me he enjoyed it as well.
People noticed me crawling inâof course they did. It wasnât like there were a ton of us. They waved me over or smiled or said my name exactly the way they wouldâve had I been little or big. They just accepted me completely as I was.
Ryder came over in his pup gear and sniffed me, shook his head, and then bopped me with his nose. He wanted to play. I looked up at Daddy.
âGo and play with your friends,â he encouraged, and off I went.
Ryder and I ran and hung out with the littles. So many games of knock over the blocks and chase the car were played. Littles giggled, Ryder barked, I meowed and, by snack time, everyone was ready.
I went over to Daddy, who fed me little bits of cheese. Iâd never been fed before. Not like this. I loved it and showed my appreciation by purring. He seemed to enjoy it when I did that.
I curled up at his feet while the littles had an art contest, and Luke read everyone a story about two princes who met, fell in love, and lived happily ever after. It was a perfect afternoon, and weâd have stayed there longer if the manager of the club hadnât come in with a ten-minute warning.
They had to get ready to open to the public, and she invited us to stay. But we already had plansâa rehearsal dinner minus the rehearsalâbut it was nice to be welcome.
âItâs time to go, my precious boy.â Jamison gave me a long stroke along my side, and I stretched out with a yawn, rolling onto my back. âYou need some pets on, donât you.â He stroked my chest down to my belly, never going quite as low as my cock. âNow up you get, or weâll miss our van.â I begrudgingly rolled over onto all fours and followed him out.
Once clear of the room, I stood up, leaning into Jamison, who wrapped his arm around me.
