Marinated Garlic Tofu

Prep Time: 10 mins, + marinate time

Cook Time: 10 minutes

The wonderful quality to tofu is that it will absorb any flavor when marinated. It is delicious sautéed and served with rice and vegetables on the side.

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon GF tamari

Dash chili powder

1 lime, juiced

1 lb. firm tofu, cut into 2” rectangles

2 green onions, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix spices, oils and liquids and pour over tofu that has been cut into rectangles.

2. Let marinate from 2 hours to overnight.

3. Put 1 tablespoon olive oil into bottom of cast iron cooker.

4. Sauté tofu on medium heat for 10 minutes, turning several times as it browns.

5. Scatter green onion on top before serving.
