The Syndicate was in full swing and nearly set for their final assault on the last Alliance stronghold. Rows upon rows of Hammerheads, Vipers, and Cyclones lined the inner barricaded walls of the base. Reapers stood at attention in perfect formation with their weapons held close to their chests as they waited for word that the time was at hand.

The day had moved along swiftly, hours ticking down like seconds as if father time couldn’t wait any longer for the two factions to collide.

Stepping out from the shadows of the base, Marcus paused and looked over his men. Donned in his black battle gear that perfectly blended in with the other Reaper suits, Marcus addressed his men.

“Today is our day to take what is rightfully ours. For so many years, we have fought and bled together. We’ve lost many men in our campaign and have seen this opportunity slip through our grasp more than once. All those sacrifices that we’ve made are going to be rectified starting tonight. We stay the course and keep pushing forward and victory will be ours!”

A single battle grunt resonated from the Reapers, engulfing the base. Lifting their fists in the air, the Reapers fed on Marcus’s words.

Seeing that his men were more than anxious to satisfy their warmonger appetite, Marcus gave the order to move out.
