‘We need you to focus, boy, okay?’ said Pete. ‘Focus!’

Warnie wagged his tail excitedly and peed on the back of Grandpa Leo’s walker.

‘Warnie! No!’ Grandpa cried. ‘It’s called tea time, not wee time!’

Pete stormed in towards the crease to bowl.

Oliver’s dad hit the ball.

‘WARNIE!’ Pete cried. ‘Get the ball, boy. Get the ball!’

This time Warnie was paying attention.

‘Out!’ yelled Grandpa.

It was a spectacular catch!

Next Max stepped into bat. And Abby bowled him out for a duck!

Pete’s team was on a roll.

Oliver’s mum hit the ball, but Angus chased it and threw it straight and hard at the bin.

‘You’re gonna pay for that,’ said Oliver, stepping into bat with his sister.

They smashed the ball all over the street. Even Abby’s awesome spin bowls were being belted for Sixes.

The score was tied at 56 runs each. Oliver only needed one more run to win the Jacaranda Cup – again!
