Al Qaeda was much too smart to have the camp lit up at night. On the jet-black campus of night having a blip of bright light shining anywhere on it was a dead giveaway. Better to make the men in Quantico Virginia work for their pay sifting through image after image looking for anything that was detectable.

With the coordinates linked into the computer circuitry of his helmet, Tyler's visor came alive, giving him the vital information of the area. Across the top and bottom of the visor the display gave his location in both latitude and longitude as well as the direction he was heading. A built-in course marker shining a bright yellow indicated exactly where he was headed. Unless the Al Qaeda team uprooted their entire program, or all the satellites failed at the same time, the team was sure to find the compound.

Clicking on the intercom to speak with Shaukat and Falau, Tyler looked at the distance, now closing within 5 miles.

“Gentlemen, we’re getting in close right now, but we need to stop so we can talk about something,” said Tyler. “Right here will be fine.”

The two men let off the accelerator beside their friend. Getting off the bikes the men gathered together stretching their backs and relaxing themselves after the long journey.

“So, what's up boss?” asked Shaukat.

“Pretty simple man,” said Tyler. “They got two primitive guards but they stay on the side of the compound. These guys are more dangerous than anybody. They’re there to shoot first.”

“All friendly types,” said Falau, letting his humor shine through. “I was afraid they might be grumpy.”

“Yeah real party poopers,” said Tyler “The good thing is these guys come out here and their shift is a week long. They set up in small tents and are equipped with a radio and a shit load of weapons. Once the week’s over, they head back in and somebody else comes out and fills their place. Their shift started yesterday.”

“So, nobody’s gonna be looking for them for six more days,” said Shaukat.

“And hopefully within six days you'll be sitting on the beach in Thailand enjoying a cool drink with some hot ladies,” said Tyler. “But as for these guys out here I'm hoping that within six days the buzzards will be done picking at their carcasses and there will be nothing left of them for anyone to find.”

“Do you have any kind of lock on where they might be on the perimeter?” asked Falau. “I'm taking it that rifles gonna make a bit too much noise even this far out.”

“You do an old-fashioned stealth kill,” said Shaukat. “Underneath the cover of night all we need to do is move up from behind with the knife.”

“That sounds like a great idea. The only problem will be if we have been detected, said Tyler. “But if they’re anything like the rest of us on patrol they get bored and tired and they’re probably gonna do a lot of sitting around and talking and forget everything else.”

“True..” Tyler said shaking his head.
