PU’ER TIME

Do you have a secret Pu’er collection? My budget isn’t really amenable to amassing vast stores of teas, but I do have a few cakes stashed away in my cabinet to age. Everyone once in a while, I take them out and wonder if I should brew something. I finally gathered up the courage to snap a photo of my stash and share it with you guys. What do I think? Should I dig in? Apparently Pu’er tastes best under dry storage after sixty years, but that’s so long!

Bobaboy888 (4:15pm): Okay, I’ll bite. You should brew a bit of your 2014 Hekai Mountain. I have a hunch it’ll be at a good place right now.

Hibiscus (5:26pm): A non-sarcastic comment? Who are you and what have you done with Bobaboy?

BobaBoy888 (6:30pm): *shrug* I’m curious. And Hekai Mountain makes good teas.

Hibiscus (7:02pm): All right, I’ll brew this one next week and post pictures.

Bobaboy888 (7:36pm): Careful with the photography. Your photos are so overexposed I worry it’ll dry out the leaves.
