If I were a kidnapper, how would I smuggle X out of Boot Camp? There was only one exit marked on the map, and that was through the Briefing Room.

That seems like a risky way to leave if you’re a kidnapper, thought Zac. There must be another way out of Boot Camp. Wouldn’t each room have a fire exit?

Then it hit him. The Mountain Room had a life-sized mountain.

A fire exit would be near the surface, and you would have to climb the mountain to get out.

Zac felt sure he was onto something. Maybe the kidnappers smuggled X out through the fire exit?

‘During your search, you must stay together for safety!’ Hotsnap was yelling. ‘Now go!’

Zac groaned. He wanted to search for X by himself!

24 turned to Zac with a smirk. ‘Where do you want to start, big shot?’

Big shot? thought Zac. Who says ‘big shot’ these days?
