It’s early afternoon when I drive her to the nearest shopping mall. I need Eden to wow my mother with her beauty since my mom is into lavish dressing.

Sitting in the parking lot in my car outside of the boutique, she asks, “What’re we doing here?”

“I need some classy suit, so my dad won’t flip out again when he sees me in a plain designer shirt,” I answer and she chuckles. “We’re also here to get you some new clothes.”

Her mouth drops open. She adjusts in her seat to face me. “Are you serious?”

I nod, as a small smile tugs on my lips.

“Wow, that’s so—wait, did your mom comment on my clothes?” Her eyes are anxious.

“It doesn’t matter.”

Eden collapses into the car seat. “I just want to—”

“It’s okay, Eden. I want to get you new clothes.”

Our eyes locked and a glint of pink painted her cheeks. “But you’ve paid me so much, already. You just have to tell me to get new clothes and I will.” Her voice is soft, it makes my heart melt.

Doesn’t she see that I can’t control myself around her? Even if I pay her a million dollars for a day, I’ll still want to treat her. How else am I going to ease this sweet ache in my heart for her?

Unable to resist, I brush my finger on her soft face and flashes of her intimate time together flood my head. “Maybe I just want to spend money on you, how about that?”

She blushes deeply. “Thank you,” she whispers.

We head into the mall and do some shopping. It’s especially cute watching Eden model what she’s picked out. We leave with plenty of time to drive home and get ready for the party.
