“I think we found what Hermit came here looking for,” Roy said as he lifted the book and flipped to the first page.

It was easy to understand, shockingly enough. Though the arrays and configurations Roy saw were beyond his comprehension, carefully written explanations helped him understand what he was looking at.

Roy wasn’t actually much interested in arrays and how they functioned, so he flipped through the book pretty quickly.

“Wait!” Geon shouted, causing Roy to pause.

“What is it?” he asked, looking around and wondering if someone else had snuck in here.

“Go back a few pages,” Geon said.

Roy did so, turning the pages slowly until Geon told him to stop.

“Take a good, long look at that array and tell me it doesn’t look familiar,” Geon said.

Roy stared at the drawing of the array for several moments, taking in the sheer size and compilations of the intricate scripts delicately woven together. Strangely enough, it did look familiar, though Roy couldn’t seem to place where he’d seen it before.

“You’re standing right on top of it, you idiot,” Geon said, causing Roy to look down.

Sure enough, a quick comparison between the drawing and the script array on the floor showed Roy that they were one and the same.

His eyes flicked back to the page, up to the title of this array.
