Forming Your First Cane

Roll the light green clay into a circle that is 1˝ (2.5cm) thick and 1˝ (2.5cm) wide.

Slice into the circle three times. This should split the circle into four even slices with three gaps.

Roll out the dark green clay into a thin sheet. Insert the dark green clay between the light green slices, and join the pieces back together.

Slice the circle in half at an angle across the stripes.

Form another strip of dark green, and attach it to the center of one half.
