Ariel Imagine waking up in a luxury hotel suite.

Imagine light flooding through the window, dawn chorus of garbage trucks, traffic, and the room being entirely empty.

Imagine collecting your belongings, trying not to smell your own breath, and heading to reception.

Receptionist How did you enjoy your stay, sir?

Ariel Oh, very much.

Receptionist Excellent. I understand Miss Brunel had to leave early for an art fair in Prague.

Ariel She did?

Receptionist Sir, we understand you’re happy to collect the bill.

Ariel I see.

Receptionist How would you like to pay today, sir?

Ariel Er … American Express?

Receptionist Excellent, sir. To cover Miss Brunel’s stay the charge is nineteen thousand seven hundred and fifty-five dollars.
