Most wines do not get better with age. That is something most people donât know. Some wines do, and sometimes the cork will allow oxygen to mix with green wine and hopefully it will all age well. But most of the time, you can just seal a great fruit-forward wine like we do and go with that. If you want an aged wine, just know youâre paying for each year itâs been aged; and it might be fifty dollars and still have spoiled. Itâs like trading in futures to age wine and use corks.
