As mentioned earlier, with each successive seminar I sat for the Saturday evening experimental séance with generally ninety plus people in attendance. At each we enjoyed communication on a physical level with the Spirit world. Whilst there are innumerable reports from participants, I have chosen two to present here written by overseas visitors. The first comes from a French researcher, who, whilst not a Spiritualist, attended because of his lifelong interest in physical phenomena, and the second from a Canadian visitor. The latter I chose simply because it illustrates so powerfully the impact that such phenomena can, and regularly do have, upon people’s lives.

I have concluded the chapter with a report about a séance which, although not held at the usual venue in North Yorkshire, produced an exceedingly rare communication. This involved the transmission of a single ‘code word’ from the Spirit world which effectively proved survival.
