"Ohhh, can I go in there?" Harmonie excitedly asked as she posted at Build-A-Bear. "I love that place."
I groaned as we went into yet another store inside the mall. It's been a week since I've been back in town and informed Halo about his daughter. With it being the holiday season, this mall is the last place I want to be, but Halo thought it would be a good idea to take us shopping for the thousandth time. The day we left his laundromat, we went to the mall before going to Harmonie from school and grabbing us a few outfits and essentials. I really tried to stand my ground and let him know he didn't have to do that, but he pulled me into the nearest private bathroom and finger fucked me into submission. I floated through that mall and let that man buy whatever he wanted.
"Sure, baby girl, we can go in there if you want to. Ball out."
"Oh my gosh, Mr. Man!" I giggled as she hugged his legs and ran inside. Suddenly, she stopped mid-stride. She looked from side to side before she turned to us with tears flowing down her little face.
"Halo, no." I tried to stop him as he dropped the bags and ran to her to see what was wrong. Rolling my eyes, I shook my head as he kneeled before her and wiped her tears.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He pulled her into his embrace and rubbed her curls. "Tell me."
"It's just so many," she whimpered. "I don't know what to do?"
"Baby, get whatever you want. You don't have to cry."
"Okay!"
I couldn't help but giggle as those tears dried right on up. Halo kneeled in his spot for a few moments before he stood and turned back to me, looking confused as ever as he bent down and picked up the bags he dropped on the ground.
"What the fuck just happened?"
"Her little ass finessed you." I giggled as we looked on as Harmonie ran rampant through the store. "You saw how fast those damn tears dried up."
"I feel played." We shared a laugh as we watched her pick from various bears and outfits. "Let me go put this in the truck, and I will be right back in to get y'all. You gone be good?"
"Yes, daddy?" He bit his lips and lustfully raked my body. Immediately, I regretted my remark. "I mean, yes, Halo. Go."
"Yeah, aight." He kissed my cheek and promised he would be right back.
The mall was crowded, but thankfully, we were near the exit where we parked. For the next few minutes, I watched as my daughter picked out and dressed at least four different bears.
"Do you think you have enough, Nee?" I giggled as she asked me to hold one while she picked another. "This is too many."
"I know, but it's so hard to choose," she whined as if her little ass was stressed out. "Plus, I want to get one from Ms. Gladys, Auntie Bailey, and Mr. Man. He's so nice, Mommy.
