“It was a long shot, but I had to try. Rachel helped me get in, she told me where they were. I just wanted to talk to Ann-Marie, but when I saw Des harassing Rachel, I had to help her. I think Ann-Marie was jealous, because then she wouldn’t let me talk to her alone. She made this whole scene, and I was desperate, so I just came out with it. She laughed in my face.”

“Rachel knew what you were going to do?”

“Yeah, she offered to help me. It was only afterwards that I realized that Ann-Marie put her up to it. I thought she was helping because she wanted Ann-Marie to be happy. But then at the wedding, Rachel broke down and confessed everything. She said that Ann-Marie told her to help me, because she was bored at the bachelorette party. Ann-Marie figured she’d break up with me and get some free entertainment out of it, too.”
