Similar to within the audio tag, the ogg format, Ogg Theora, kills zombies with its awesome open-source attitude. The most well-supported format in the world of the video tag though is the mpeg format. Just like with audio, be sure to put your preferred source tag in first.

While there are a number of other attributes worth exploring on the video tag, “controls” is the most useful. This does not require a value but can simply be put in as controls or, if needed, controls=”true”.
