“And what makes you think that, Felix?” questioned the captain.

“Just call it a hunch, sir. I don’t think they went down. I think the current took them away towards the old volcano. Trust this old sailor. I have seen the likes of this before in these waters,” said Felix reassuringly.

“I sure hope you’re right,” exclaimed James. “That was my sister who went overboard.”
