Oven

Roasting Time: 35 – 45 minutes

1. Preheat the oven to 425°. Grease a rimmed sheet pan.

2. Place the chunked potatoes on the pan. Drizzle with half the oil. Toss.

3. Roast 18 – 22 minutes, or until the potatoes are nearly soft.

4. Add the kale and remaining oil. Toss til the kale, oil, and potatoes are well mixed. Pull the mixture to one side of the pan.

5. Spread the pricked sausage pieces in one layer on the open section.

6. Return to the oven. Continue roasting til the potatoes and kale are soft, and the sausage is browned.

7. Near the end of the roasting, warm the milk just til scalding (not boiling).

8. Mash the potatoes, kale, and hot milk together.

9. Pile onto a big platter, or back onto the sheet pan. Surround by the sausage pieces and serve.
