This again opens up the block editor.

With Gutenberg, you build your web pages using blocks.

In its simplest form, a post could be simply a title and a paragraph block, like this:

Note that there is only one paragraph per block. If you are writing a block of text, and press the Enter key to start a new paragraph, Gutenberg will automatically create a new paragraph block for the second paragraph. In the following screenshot, I pressed the Enter key after the final word of the first paragraph:

Can you see that Gutenberg automatically created a new paragraph block? Go on and try it for yourself.

This auto-addition of new paragraph blocks makes writing long pieces of content very easy because you do not need to manually create paragraph blocks as you type.

If you tend to write your content in an external editor and then paste it into WordPress, you’ll find that Gutenberg automatically splits the text into multiple paragraph blocks for you!

The advantage of using one block per paragraph is that each paragraph can then be formatted independently of the others.
