Chapter 8.

How to Use the Whiteboard in Zoom

Zoom Touch Whiteboard screen is an amazing feature for presentations/teaching that you can quickly scribble something on, and you can also start drawing things and annotate on. You can explain things on it. It also has tools area where you can select text, drawing tool, spotlight eraser, etc., there are many tools there that you can use on your whiteboard for your presentations.

Using the whiteboard within a zoom meeting is incredibly useful but there were a couple of things that we need to be aware of and a couple of settings you need to be aware of so everything can run smoothly.

How to Use A Whiteboard

Log into Zoom

Join a meeting

Tap meeting settings

Tap on the Share Screen button

Tap Whiteboard

Tap Share

The drawing/writing tools will come up automatically, but you can hide or show them.

Use the drawing/writing (annotation) tools to making drawings, sketches or rough work on the whiteboard.

You can save the whiteboard after the session as a PNG file. You can find it saved in your computer in Zoom folders as whiteboard.png.
