Roger sat the kitchen counter alone... contemplating the events of yesterday. Was this all going to be worth it...? They needed the money, sure, but now it felt like it had gone just too far. Thomas walked into the kitchen, dressed in his robe, but followed by another man in a suit. The man looked hispanic, and seemed to pay no attention at all to Roger. Thomas walked up to Kayla.

"Thanks for last night," he said with a smile. She managed a half-hearted smile in reply. "Listen," he continued, "this is Luiz. He's going to be joining us this morning." Roger started to object, coming to his feet, when Thomas coolly faced him.

"You should know by now that I've already made sure this is going to work in the contract. Unfortunately, my wife wasn't too well this morning and I decided to take advantage of this opportunity make some of the money back that I've spent on your wife. It's not nearly as much as I'm going to pay you, of course, but making at least a little bit back would be nice." Roger sat back down. As always, Thomas was right.

Kayla had a look of panic in her eyes as Luiz took several steps towards her. He reached a hand out for her face slowly, stroking her cheek right there in the kitchen, and right in front of Roger.
