With only a few rare exceptions, windows 11 supports almost all app desktop applications that are compatible with windows 10. So, if you upgrade your device from Windows 10 to Windows 11 or from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 then to Windows 11, almost all your apps that have been working for windows 10 will work for windows 11. If you are upgrading from windows 8.1 to windows 11, there is no guarantee that all the apps which you are using in Windows 8.1 may work in windows 11.

So you need to contact the vendor of the apps or software to verify if you can upgrade your device to Windows 11. Sometimes, when you upgrade your device to windows 11 and after 10 days, you will not be allowed to downgrade and there is software which you cannot use in windows 11.
