“He was rude,” Madison said as she considered their time in the magic shop.

“I liked him!” Amelia shouted. “He was kind of silly, and he is probably like a level twenty wizard. But the dress was gone! And I didn’t even get a chance to ask him what it did,” her excitement quickly gave way to pouting.

“We were also supposed to find out what the dagger in the other window does, but we didn’t do that either,” Logan said. “In other news, this Wand of Recovery is amazing!” He read and reread the item card for the magic wand.

“Okay, you got a wand,” Amelia rolled her eyes. “We have been shopping for like an hour already! Can we fast forward a little bit please?”

“No! I badly need better armor,” Madison answered.

“You guys get all the cool gear,” Amelia grumbled. “If we have to go shopping, I want to get something for myself too. It shouldn’t cost very much.”

“Of course,” Madison replied. “And I promise we won’t spend hours haggling with the dwarves.”
