I was suffering from rope burn, sheet burn. Hell, even my ass was burning from the bites. But I didn’t regret one thing I allowed that man to do to me last night. Wait, that’s a lie. The one regret I had was not getting his name and number for round two. Hell, I think I fell in love last night.

There was no way I was going to confess to letting a stranger who broke into my room, ravage my body. She would think I was some kind of freak. As we entered the conference room at the hotel, the fine hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I could feel someone watching me, so I looked around. Nobody within eyeshot was looking my way. People were mingling and chatting excitedly about the start of the conference, but no one was paying me any attention.

Since I was a keynote speaker, I was provided an assigned seat on the stage level. After saying goodbye to Jess, I took the stage. My seat allowed me to see the entire facility. As I settled in ready to hear the host welcome everyone, I couldn’t help but notice a mysterious man at the back of the room. He had dark hair that was perfectly coifed to give off that messy look guys were wearing these days. However, he was anything but ordinary.

His beard/goatee was perfectly manicured, giving his squared jaw an extra boost of sexiness. There was something about his eyes that looked familiar, but he was too far away to be sure. All I knew was he took my breath away. I was drawn to this man. It was the same feeling I had with the strange in my room last night. It had to be him.
