I sent it, waiting for the noise to indicate that the message had sent. The message turned green to show it had been read, I nibbled the inside of my mouth as I saw my phone light up with him calling me. I cut it off, then turning my phone off.

Stew on that.

Arsehole.

I walked back into the lounge, my beautiful Luna’s face lighting up the room. “Ready to head home?” I asked as I walked over to her.

“Yup,” she said. “Girls, I’ll see you later for dinner, yeah?” She grinned at them.

“Can’t wait, we will see you later, eight o’clock?” Brooke asked.

“Perfect,” Luna cooed.

We walked towards the door, closing it behind us as I scooped Luna up, her legs wrapping around my waist, her arms clinging round my neck as I carried her into our villa, a stupid grin on my face as she kissed me. She was my favourite way to spend my afternoon.

My new beginning, my saviour, my Luna.
