The Happy Harlot’s Caravan

Dumpling paused, gratefully accepting the mug of ale that Maerco brought her. She’d been talking for a while, and her throat was getting parched. As she quaffed the beer, the goblin bard scanned the crowd.

It seemed as though the entire caravan had come out to hear Dumpling spin her yarn. Most were listening attentively, but she spotted more than a few who, perhaps inspired by Dumpling’s rendition of the ‘Founding of Divony,’ had paired off. The goblin woman spotted several men and women locked in decidedly intimate embraces, doing little to hide their amorous encounters from the other caravaners. Dumpling wasn’t surprised; this was a caravan of harlots, after all.

“Quite the story, so far,” Maerco observed, joining Dumpling in looking out at the folk gathered around the bonfire.

“They seem to be enjoying it,” she replied, nodding at a young man and woman nearby. The lad was sitting on a fallen log while the woman knelt between his legs, her head bobbing in his groin. She turned her golden-eyed gaze back to Maerco. “Are you?”

The big, red headed guardsman laughed. Even standing on the stump from where Dumpling was delivering her oration, the top of the goblin woman’s head still only came up to his chin.

“Aye, that I am,” answered with a broad grin. His eyes flashed suggestively down, and Dumpling saw a suggestive bulge in his pants.

“Maybe I should wrap up for the night?” she asked, slowly licking the beer’s foam off of her lips.

Maerco just shook his head. “Keep going, Little Apple. I like the sound of your voice.” His teeth flashed white in the red of his beard, gleaming in the firelight.

Dumpling’s golden gaze followed the bearded man as he walked back to his spot next to Leticia and Chrissy.

Later, I am going to ride that dick of yours until one of us breaks, she promised the big man silently.

Dumpling shook her head, gathered her thoughts, and launched back into the tale.
