Chapter 7

"You took longer than expected,” Peeple came out of a hidden door in the maze wall swinging one of those clocks on a chain that nobody uses anymore.

"We ran into some mythical trouble," I said, never taking my eyes off Peeple as he walked around the outside of the cage.

He grinned, "You like my new toy? Sure, it cost eight million dollars and eighty gold bars, but hey, we must make sacrifices."

What’s gold? Anyway, Peeple called for his strongest minion to carry us in our cage. He looked pretty muscular. He could almost be a good match for me, almost. After what seemed hours of being carried back into the maze, we ended up in what looked like a medieval dungeon. It even had some suits of knight armor and axes. After some struggle, the strong minion (who I'm going to call Beefy) took away our weapons and put on some goggles that he said would make him see us when we were invisible.
