“It really isn’t that I don’t love you. Just in case that’s where your head takes this. I love you. I really love you. But I can appreciate the value of letting you fly free. I can see the benefits far outweigh the cost.”

“Even if you don’t get to watch?” she asks, her heart fluttering as he moves in closer and slides an arm tightly around her waist.

“Even then. In the shower. You know, the other day. You were right. It really was hot. And okay, sometimes I might have been thinking about you and Tyler together, but it was mostly just you and me in there. Under the water. Your lips around my cock. And anyway, we’d only be kidding ourselves if we didn’t acknowledge that being with Tyler has awoken something in you, too. But who do you suppose reaps the benefit of that, Penny? “You?” she asks, looking up at him from under hooded eyelids. “You really think it was sexy? You think that what I did was…”

“The hottest thing ever?” he asks, grinning as her cheeks heat. “Definitely,” he replies, grabbing her hand and pressing it between them. “Doesn’t this rather prove that you are sexy? I don’t see Tyler anywhere around here right now. Do you?”

She shakes her head. Swallowing hard as Paul drags her as close as can be. He isn’t here at all, but that’s not to say that Paul isn’t thinking about what they’ve all done together. And it’s the not knowing. The not really believing that she could be enough for him all on her own.

“You really want me?” she asks, the words an almost inaudible whisper.

“Of course I do,” he growls in reply. “I want you. And right this minute, I want you to take off your knickers and get up on that table. Can you do that for me at least, Penny?”

He sounds so desperate for it that her breath catches in her throat.

“If you want me to.”

“I need you to,” he replies, his gaze sliding all over her and damn near devouring her. “I’ve done nothing but imagine myself inside you all day and I can’t think straight half the time, Pen. I want you. On that table. Knickers off. Legs spread. Can you do that for me, baby? Can you put me out of my misery and let me fuck you so hard that you scream?”

Heat blooms inside her at the promise of being so thoroughly fucked.

“I can do that,” she says breathlessly. Her teeth biting down on her bottom lip as she stares at him.

It’s moments like these, when he’s looking at her like she’s the most captivating creature on the planet, that she wonders what her problem is over all this. Paul’s hot for her. He wants her. And right at this moment, Tyler doesn’t feature in this scenario at all. And he still wants her.

She inches towards him, her body aching, her eyes raking over his body now.
