​Early this year, Kate calls LL and tells him she would like to work with him and his group, using her neurobiology expertise to make his network architectures closer to cortical circuitry. Already before the year’s end, their online collaboration brings an exciting result: supercomputer simulations of one MolBar modification suggested by Kate show that the discovered effect of input sequence continuation becomes much better pronounced. There is no doubt now that the so-modified network can correctly predict about half a dozen movie frames it has never seen.
