Which is exactly what he fucking did.

Even in his trance-like state, it surprised Nathan when he popped the loose tendon in his mouth and began to chew, but he was soon back for more as he started digging into the muscle. Nathan then carved up Jack’s chest some more with the steak knife before the rude waiter tried to heroically drag him off.

The waiter got a steak knife through the neck for his trouble, and earlier rudeness. That seemed to send a message to everyone else remaining in the room that wanted to be a knight in shining armour as the waiter collapsed to the floor in a fountain of blood. He was dead before his hands even tried to stop the spray. Everyone still inside the chaotic restaurant took a step back, heeding the warning. Not that many people were left, just the ones caught on the wrong side of the room and worried to cross Nathan. They fucking should be worried because they’d suffer the same fate if they fucking interrupted him again, Nathan thought as he chewed on his Jack’s stomach meat.

Nathan dug the fork into Jack’s gorgeous dead blue eyes that he’d admired for so long next, plucking them out and gobbling them up. He wasn’t sure at the exact moment Jack stopped breathing, but it didn’t affect the taste. The important thing was no one else could have him, and Nathan got to eat out at a nice restaurant. He didn’t realise how hungry he was until he gnawed on Jack’s lips, half giving him the kiss he’d always wanted to, and half eating the fucking things. Best of both worlds.

By the time the police tasered him, Nathan had devoured most of Jack’s face and honestly, it tasted fucking amazing. All this time thinking about holding his hand, kissing him, touching him, and it turned out the most incredible sensation was fucking gorging on him. Whether that was Nathan’s opinion, or the voice’s, he was unsure, as it felt the two had briefly merged and become one. The electricity pulsing through his body put an end to that, or at least concluded their business together. Either way, Nathan was out cold while the voice and rot were gone.
